Everything Specs
Released in summer of 2016, Asus Zenfone 3 Max is a mid-range smartphone, which is a solid performer but doesn’t offer anything new. Starting from hardware, this smartphone sports a MediaTek MT6737M chipset and a Quad-core 1.25 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, standard for many budget smartphones. To our disappointment, there is Mali-T720MP2 GPU, which isn’t that capable in terms of gaming. A 2 GB of RAM isn’t great either, but it’s a bare minimum. Yes, you can game on this phone, but less demanding titles. Multitasking is limited though.
The display here is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, measuring 5.2″ in size and offers 720p resolution; again, solid but not great. A 13 MP camera here works good, but it’s also average at best. It’s capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps. For a price of $270, you can get a better smartphone for sure. But if you are a fan of Asus smartphones, then well… go for it.

I'm a heavy smartphone user who uses his smartphone on a daily. Thankfully, Asus Zenfone 3 Max fulfiled my needs when it comes to the battery. Its 4100 mAh battery holds its own and is great. I also like its design and overall performance.
