Asus Zenfone 4 Max ZC554KL was announced this month and it’s aimed towards the users that want a solid smartphone and aren’t willing to pay more than they should. Well, we hope you like what you see, and that Asus achieved their goal with this smartphone. It came out in August of 2017, and it certainly the best among its relatives fighting for predominance in the affordable smartphone market. For example, it’s way thinner than Asus Zenfone Go ZB552KL, which is a good thing, and means that Asus listens to the customers. So let’s see what has been upgraded when it comes to Asus Zenfone 4 Max ZC554KL specs:
First of all, the design is way more pleasant to the eyes. It comes in three colors: Titanium Gray, Rose Pink, and Sand Gold. There’s no classic white or black choices, but we’re fine with that. You can always purchase silicone mask or have a custom case made. But we don’t see a reason for that, as it’s pretty good the way it is. We’re pretty happy that it brought upgrades in Multi-Touch, allowing up to 10 fingers, but also Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the screen against damage.
On the software side, it ships with Android 7.0 (Nougat), but with ZenUI 4.0 as an addition. That means it’ll have all the good things Android brings, but the custom improved visual side they provided. The screen was upgraded too, which was one of our main complaints on Asus Zenfone Live ZB501KL. It now finally sports an S-IPS panel touchscreen, 5.5-inches in diameter and about 70% screen-to-body ratio. Not only that, but it comes with a full HD resolution, at last, sporting 1920 x 1080 pixels. It’s the upgrade we’ve been waiting to see, and we’re so glad it finally happened. Moving on, to see what else you’ll get for Asus Zenfone 4 Max ZC554KL price of $230.
First of all, we’ll have something to compare it to, and that’s Xiaomi’s Mi A1. And that certainly checks out because this beauty has a 12 MP dual cameras feature on the back as well. It allows for stunning pictures, blurred background, and sharp foreground. You’ll be able to achieve Bokeh effects and other cool stuff like you would on an SLR or DSLR. On the front, we have 8 MP of resolution, which is something we’ve already seen on almost all Asus mobile phones. Once again, the capability to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second is present, and we’re glad it is.
Finally, it does have Asus Zenfone 3s Max ZC521TL best feature, its 5000 mAh camera. It feels like Asus really listened to user reviews and decided to put only the best features of each phone. The main specs of Asus Zenfone 4 Max ZC554KL have been upgraded too. CPU only slightly, now having an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 instead of 410, while the GPU really changed. It’s now Adreno 505, allowing for a huge increase in gaming performance. You can even run some digital design apps now and have images rendered really fast. Finally, the RAM has been bumped to 4 GB, which is fitting with the new look and feel.
