Everything Specs
Although BlackBerry Leap costs about $117, it has interesting specifications. For example, it offers an IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen display with 720p resolution, and 5.5″ size. Pixel density, however, isn’t great but an HD display for this price is great. As this smartphone is more than 2 years old, don’t expect anything fancy in terms of hardware. Here, we have Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus coupled with Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and severely outdated Adreno 225 GPU. Don’t expect to play newer games smoothly, nor some multitasking because of 2 GB of RAM. Internal memory, however, isn’t bad for the price and 16 GB is offered here.
The 8 MP camera here is more than capable! It offers to record in 1080p at 30 fps and even option for 60 fps recording in 720 fps. On the front, the 2 MP camera isn’t bad either. BlackBerry Leap is a perfect example of how a budget smartphone should be done. For this price, you won’t be disappointed.

BlackBerry Leap is an entry-level smartphone which i bought for my son a few weeks ago. What can i say? It works well and at least it has an HD display, although it will not blow your mind. My son plays some games on it and they can play good, but not those demanding ones.
