Everything Specs
These babies have been surrounded by a bit of trouble back in 2016. The problem wasn’t of sound quality, thankfully. The users of Bose SoundSport Wireless complained about issues with sweating profusely while using them. We’ve got news for you, Bose heard their complaints and reacted accordingly. They took them off the market and worked on a redesign before publishing them back into a world of headphones. If you are one of the users in the past, you’re already aware they offered a free shipping and a replacement. We think that’s a great move and a fair deal by Bose, and we salute them for that.
Let’s move on – do they remind you of some other headphones right off the bat? Yes, we’re talking about BeatsX by Dr. Dre. They look really alike, and in essence, it’s the same idea. You want wireless headphones that connect by Bluetooth for fewer cables and less hassle. That’s exactly what you will get, to be honest. The winged tips are pretty unusual, as they’re usually round. But in our testing, they fit into your ears securely and comfortably. We’re also glad the sweat problems have been fixed in a redesign, so they’re now sweat resistant.
Also, you’re in no danger of losing them after paying $120 – the price of Bose SoundSport Wireless headphones. It’s a huge issue for people using wireless headphones, and especially Apple AirPods users. Although completely wireless, which is good, you’re always checking if they’re in your ears, or somewhere down the road. You won’t have to worry about these – they both sound and fit great. Too much, in some cases, as they protrude from your ears noticeable. We know they cool, so we don’t care about that, but if you do, maybe they’re not for you.
Other than listening to music while jogging and running, you can make and receive phone calls. That will be a pleasant experience, the vocals are clear and loud. In our analysis, our microphone that’s inside was distinctly clear to people we talked with. We know noise-canceling is important to you, why else would you look for a model like this? We must inform you, Bose SoundSport Wireless have those custom ear tips we already mentioned. They allow you to not lose them, but do not cover the ear canal completely, and seal it off. All that means you won’t need to worry about not hearing a car approaching, or even worse – a train.
That’s why they were a headphone of choice for runners and bikers. You can listen to music while staying aware of your surrounding. Other than that, whether you have an Android or an iOS device, they’re compatible. You will have no problem connecting them to an Apple iPhone 8 Plus or a Samsung Galaxy S8+. In fact, iPhone connection was so effortless that you can connect them to both a MacBook and an iPhone, and switch accordingly. To boost the usage further, download Bose Connect, an app that will make control effortless. You can check the pairing list, upgrade firmware. Set up auto power off settings in case you fall asleep while listening to music or relaxing melody.

I bought these headphones not for their design but because they are wireless and the cable won't interrupt me in my sports activities. They do their job great and the sound quality is good. The design, however, is lightweight and i think they could break if they fall to the ground.
