Everything Specs
ELAC Debut B6 is a great pair of speakers, specially made for the crystal clear sound quality. You won’t be wrong if you decide on these ones – we were impressed too. And the cost they come with is really affordable and great – price of ELAC Debut B6 is only $275. For that price, you can either choose to get them in black colors with ash colored edges. Some pictures show ELAC Debut B6 in the full-wood finish, and it looks natural and very well made. It’s time we take a look at specs of ELAC Debut B6 and what makes them so great:
First of all, the company that makes ELAC Debut B6, by the same name, was founded a long time ago. In fact, it came into existence all the way back in 1920 Germany. That proves they’ve had a ton of experience, failures, and successes, and it got them to where they are now. If that didn’t convince you, keep reading. ELAC Debut B6 definitely offers the largest speakers in the series. The dome is 25mm, and cloth, while the woofer is 16.5cm tall. They use a special aramid fiber cone and swear by it.
Apparently, ELAC Debut B6 has improved flexibility in achieving and maintaining smooth frequency range. And not only that, it gives a smooth, extended sound without any worries. It’s time we talked about placement. These are certainly big and a bit bulky. That means you will need a sturdy, hard surface to place them on. We will recommend staying away from the wall-mounting and putting them in a corner. The best way to place ELAC Debut B6 would be to buy a stand to put them on. However, maybe you can wake up the artist inside and make your own custom one. In the end, if these are too big for you, maybe opt for KEF Q350, as they’re smaller in size.
It’s time we delved more into the sound quality of ELAC Debut B6. They’re as good as they’re big, and we’re glad. They offer a big sound space coverage and are loud and clear. The balance is quite good, but you’ll experience a bit of a harsh sound coming out if you play low-quality sounds. But that’s not the speakers’ fault, the source was bad, to begin with. ELAC Debut B6 offers just enough bass to make a great experience, but not alter the original sound.
In the end, you’ll hear a lot of detail. Whether you’re rocking on with some rock or metal, or are a fan of acoustic, slower songs, it’s all there. To wrap up, are the features of ELAC Debut B6 worth the price? In our opinion, they certainly are! With a price of about $275, you’re getting a quality pair of speakers. They will transmit sound all around your living room with authority and confidence. In case you’re looking for something a little bit smaller, we’ve got a recommendation too. Take a look at Yamaha YAS-203 soundbar, it’s small, it sleek, and will fit under your TV comfortably.
