Printers used to be found in almost every home, cartridges filled or replaced after some time. But now that we have new technologies to capture and transfer pictures and text, it’s possibly slowing down. Even good old books are commonly found in either audio or e-book format, as it’s economic and ecologic, and quite frankly, easier to carry than a book. But in case you need to cherish good memories of your significant other or family, it’s always a good idea to have it on paper. There’s just something so pleasurable about having it in your hands and not virtually. That’s where HP Envy 4520 All-in-One Printer features come in.

It’s an all-in-one printer for a reason, giving you full control of many things. For example, you choose what to do, when to do, which devices to connect, and easily exchange paper and cartridges. It’s not the smallest one around, you need to understand that, although it’s pretty slim. In a common-sized work area, it will fit comfortably and look great with its matte finish. It has a scanner on top, hence all-in-one, which will stay out of the way, you only need to reserve the space to open it when inserting paper.

HP Envy 4520 All-in-One Printer specs go with the technology, and to no surprise, use no physical buttons to function. It’s all done via a 2.2-inch LCD display, which is just enough for those. You can’t preview or edit pictures, so don’t expect that. Even though it’s good that there are no physical buttons, it’s a bit annoying to have to go through the menu every time. At least with buttons, you’d have shortcuts to scan or print – just press a button.  Imagine having to scan for the whole day, it gets tiring very quickly.

When it comes to paper handling, we have a 100-sheet input tray that can be pulled from the bottom. When not opened it’s completely out of sight and doesn’t break the whole look. You’ll be able to print the most popular size choices – A4, A5, and A6. For others, you might have to take a look at some other printers. It’s also important to mention HP Envy 4520 All-in-One Printer details when it comes to the so-called duty cycle. It’s a number of pages the printer is designed to print per month, and in our case, that’s around 1000 pages. With that in mind, the printer can hold up to 25 sheets of paper in the output tray, and it makes perfect sense.

Now it’s time to see if the price of HP Envy 4520 All-in-One Printer – around $50 is worth it? Short answer – yes. Not because of all the specifications, but because how easy it is to set it up. You can literally start printing in a couple minutes via a simple USB connection. The CD you get with the printer has easy-to-follow instructions, and you can always search the Internet for additional information. The printer also supports wireless printing, as that’s the way technology is going. When connected via Apple AirPrint or Google Cloud Print, it will start printing stuff right from an iOS device or your Web browser. How convenient!

I can't be the only one

As I said, I can't be the only one that likes old-school printers but updated for current date and time. Most of the people rarely use them and go to those huge print centers to get stuff printed out. But it's often uncomfortable if you have some private pictures of your loved ones, and it might turn you off. But what if you could get a quality printer for under $50, just like I did? I went for this particular model, and it prints fast and in color. I don't know much about its wireless features, but I'll research more about them very soon and tell you guys.
