In the summer of 2016, Huawei Honor 8 was released. So, what does it have to offer? Being a mid-range smartphone, Huawei Honor 8 will offer all-around performance for about $400. The screen here is very good, it’s a 5.2″ LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with full HD resolution. We like the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is upgradable to 7.0 (Nougat), making this smartphone always updated and equipped with the newest apps. Hardware-wise, there is an Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex A53) CPU and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. This isn’t bad at all; throw in a 4 GB of RAM here and you got a great gaming and multitasking device.
We expected a little more from the dual 12 MP camera, which can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. Well, at least we have 720p video recording at 120 fps; not bad at all. Huawei Honor 8 has a standard Li-Po 3000 mAh battery, which isn’t anything new or impressive but is a solid performer on this device.

I like Huawei Honor 8
I was a fan of Huawei since the first smartphone they released and Honor 8 is a good addition. It worked well for me and the hardware is solid, although nothing special for this price. I've been using it for around 2 weeks and everything is fine.
