LG G6 is the latest entry in the LG G series. It was launched in the winter this year and comes with Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. The body is just beautiful, long and sleek. If you’re looking for a modern phone that can serve all your needs, congratulations, you just found it. This beauty has certainly received a considerable upgrade when compared to the previous LG G5. Don’t fret – the previous one has its use, and you can still give it a go. But take a moment to hear of all the LG G6 specs it presented to us:
First of all, the first time we saw and received it in our hands, a thought occurred to us. That was: “This is just like Samsung Galaxy S8, only cheaper!”. Now, we agree they’re different in some regards, but also similar in some other. For example, a feature of LG G6 that gained a worldwide glory is the camera. Or should we say cameras? Because we’re talking about dual cameras on the back with 12 MP of resolution! You already know the deal, dual cameras do have a very cool purpose in mind. That’s taking as good photos as some DSLR cameras!
If you ever wanted to update your Instagram or Facebook feed with cool pictures, LG G6 will allow you just that. The two cameras will get you an option to blur the background behind you. That makes all the photos taken look professional, and honestly, just very cool. You can use LG G6 camera to take pictures of products for your company or create a marketing material. The possibilities are endless, and it’s up to you to choose. Unfortunately, the front camera isn’t as good, and it sports only 5MP of resolution, which is just barely enough for a casual selfie.
Moving on with our features of LG G6. In user reviews, it has shown a great potential to be a flagship smartphone for a year to come. The screen has a bit more than 2K resolution for all your viewing needs. We’re talking 1440 x 2880 pixels to be exact, all that on a 5.7-inch screen, which is excellent in our opinion. Considering the screen is IPS LCD, you will have absolutely no troubles in seeing sharp, detailed pictures and videos. We already praised LG G6 for being one of the best smartphones with 4GB RAM, so there’s no need to repeat ourselves.
Besides the RAM, you might wonder about the internal storage and opportunity to expand? Have no worries – LG G6 comes with either 32, 64, or 128 GB of space to store your favorite things. However, it’s important to mention that although not using the top-end chipset from Qualcomm like, for example, Xiaomi Mi 6 does, it’s still quite near. LG G6 is using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset processor with 4 cores to run your complex tasks on a daily basis. The GPU is also near the top-end Adreno 540, with LG G6 sporting an Adreno 530 one. In the end, in our analysis, the battery of 3300 mAh lasted us about 2 days of very moderate use. That impressed us with this one, and the battery is the perfect fit.
