Everything Specs
For a price of $223, Meizu MX5e brings some stellar performance all around but fails in some departments. It has a gorgeous, full HD 5.5″ AMOLED display, which looks really great. However, Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) which isn’t upgradable will not make you very happy and eager to buy this phone. Also, lack of microSD slot isn’t the most welcoming addition to Meizu MX5e small internal storage of 16/32 GB. Hardware-wise, Meizu MX5e doesn’t show anything new with its Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and lackluster PowerVR G6200 GPU. The camera boasting 16 MP is however good, but nothing impressive either.
For the phone with this price tag, it’s surprising to find Fingerprint scanner. It works well, without any glitches or bugs. The Battery here is Li-Ion 3150 mAh battery, which is non-removable, but supports fast charging; a great addition to this super cheap smartphone. Overall, Meizu MX5e is for non-demanding users who don’t care about OS version and just want a good Android experience for less money.

My dad bought this phone to me, for my birthday and i was a little sceptical. However, Meizu MX5e works great, although i don't like its Android 5.0 here which isn't upgradable. Aside from that, great work from Meizu!
