Nikon D500 comes with a 20.9 MP, 23.5 x 15.7 mm CMOS sensor offering a great performance for the price. Although it sounds underwhelming, Nikon D500 allows for smooth 2160p video recording and capturing photos at 5568×3712 pixels resolutions. Sure, we’ve seen higher resolutions on cameras for this price, but Nikon D500 really pulls it off here with focusing on great quality and clarity, instead of plain size. Speaking of plain size, Nikon manages to bring it to the design, unfortunately. It’s by no means a compact digital camera!

Nikon D500 weighs almost 900g and it can feel robust at some moments, making it perfectly usable with two hands, and barely usable with one hand if you have smaller hands. This shouldn’t be a downside to the camera with this performance and price, although the bigger doesn’t always mean better. Nevertheless, Nikon D500 is a really good piece of camera, and with this price, you can’t go wrong.

    A professional and streamlined camera

Nikon cameras were always my favorite and when i bought Nikon D500 i was amazed by its performance. The 20.9 MP sensor here works great and may sound underwhelming for the price, but believe me, it's a beast! With the possiblity to capture videos at a great 4K resolution, this camera is also a good choice for professionals.
