Everything Specs
Nokia made us really happy when it announced Nokia 8 in September of 2017. It didn’t take long for the flagship Nokia’s smartphone to emerge on the market. And boy, did it catch people’s attention! As it was promised, it’s been a great upgrade from the previous Nokia 7 model. That especially goes for the camera department, as Nokia 8 now boasts a 13 MP front camera! That means you’ll now be able to take your selfies in great quality and upload them for the whole world to see. Let’s see all the Nokia 8 features, and what it has to offer:
The quality of video recording has improved yet again. Now you’re able to take videos in solid 1080p with 30fps. If you wish to push it even more, Nokia 8 will certainly deliver! It’s now capable of recording 2160p videos in 30fps. Thousands of users around the world reported that they were satisfied by it. Also, all the expected features of today’s cameras are present in Nokia’s phone. HDR, facial recognition, panorama mode, etc. are just what you would expect, and even greater!
It has a 5,3-inch display, which isn’t the biggest by today’s standards. In my honest opinion that combined with IPS LED display with astonishing 1440×2560 resolution is all you should ask for. Remember that time when you dropped your phone, and you didn’t have a case to protect it, so it got scratched? Well, no worries, Nokia is here to make sure those things go without consequences. That’s because it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass protection and it will stop those accidents from ever happening again!
Now let’s look what’s under all that pretty design and glass. It’s reported to have two versions, one with 4GB and one with 6GB RAM. Octa-core 4×2.5 GHz and 4×1.8 GHz Kryo CPU are there too. You would also have to choose between 64GB and 128GB storage variant depending on your storage needs. If that proves insufficient, you have the option of expanding it with a microSD card. Regardless of your choosing, you cannot go wrong with either of those. They will both provide just the performance you require. All of those are paired with GPU inside, Adreno 540, which is safe to say, a great combination. It also possesses a non-removable 3090 mAh Li-Ion battery that’ll last you a day of usage. If it proves not to be enough for your needs, don’t worry, Nokia 8 is equipped with Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
Now let’s look at the platform you’ll be using. It currently has Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), which is up to par with similar smartphones. That means you’ll certainly have an easy time using it. In the end, I’m a tad disappointed that Nokia 8 is splashproof but not waterproof, so don’t go around spilling drinks on it! With a price of approximately 677$, Nokia 8 is a decent opponent to Samsung Galaxy S8, and it’s not going out without a fight. All things considered, it will come down to your manufacturer preference. Nokia has skyrocketed back into the world of smartphones after being lost for a while, and it’s here to stay.

Just bought the device few days back and so far it is one of the best smartphones that I've ever used. If you want to buy an extremely fast smartphone with good specs, features, as well as a good pricing (when comparing to the specs), the Nokia 8 is a real deal. I highly recommend this smartphone to any one who used to love Nokia in its old days. They really did a great come back to the smartphone industry with some amazing high-end Android smartphones.
I came here just to let everybody know how Nokia 8 changed my opinion on Nokia's smartphones, I feel like Nokia 8 features really made it skyrocket in the world of flagship smartphones today. I decided to buy it when I saw your review and I'm convinced I did not make a mistake. I would recommend for everyone to get it, you wouldn't regret it!
Nokia always been one of the favourite devices I have ever used. The product quality of their devices have always attracted my eyes. Finally they have released the touch device that I can use. I am glad that one of my favourite companies of all time started producing touch smartphones. Looking forward to getting more devices from them as soon as possible. I am pretty sure that the following devices they are going to be making Will have the same product quality of their old models. The best thing about the Nokia devices is their product quality so I am looking forward to buying more quality products from this amazing company. Then never disappointed me in the past so I hope the same in the future as well. Love you Nokia.
