We’re waiting on our toes for the final release of OnePlus 5T from a Chinese manufacturer known for quality, OnePlus. And boy did they make a one of a kind smartphone! Elongated thin body, aluminum frame and back, a front glass, and available in Midnight Black color. The design is sleek and thin, although a bit uninspired, as it’s reminiscent of a few well-known smartphones of 2017. But you know what they say – if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. Let’s see what OnePlus 5T specs have to say in defense to that:
The first thing to catch our eye is definitely a camera this one has. A dual 20MP/16 MP camera is on the back, allowing you to take monochromatic pictures and well as those in color. The quality is newfound, with aperture increased to make taking pictures in low-light quality a breeze. If you’re a fan of tweaking around everything you own, we’ve got great news for you. OnePlus 5T possesses a Pro mode, and you can tweak each and every camera setting until it’s up to your liking. All that comes with a Portrait mode for achieving some fun effects. The front camera speaks the same story, trust us. Our tests have shown that it takes pictures in 16MP resolution, with natural looking colors, good quality, and a fast shutter speed.
While we’re on the topic of cameras – you might wonder if you can unlock your phone with your pretty face? Sure you can! It’s equipped with a facial recognition software, and users report it working fast and flawless. It works with pretty unconventional angles, so you don’t have to hold it directly in front of your face! But if you’re by any chance fan of the old but reliable technologies – fingerprint scanner is also present. It’s on the rear side, which you can also press for a little longer to take a photo. That’s something we haven’t seen up until now. Now let’s talk about some other features of OnePlus 5T. For example – the screen you’ll be staring at on day-to-day basis:
OnePlus 5T boasts a 6,01-inch screen with small bezels, making you feel like you’re looking through a window to nature. Full HD AMOLED panel in 18:9 ratio has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels for you to look at. That has certainly put it at a slight disadvantage compared to its opponents which already have QHD 2K resolution present. When not put next to a rival of his, you wouldn’t even notice, to be honest. AMOLED is giving a bright and warm vibe, and the screen certainly looks sharp.
Let me just mention the price of OnePlus 5T – 559$, and let me tell you – it’s gonna be worth every penny! Its Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor is top of the game, paired with already proven Adreno 540 GPU. Two versions of either 6GB or 8GB RAM will make your dreams come alive. Its battery is of 3300 mAH capacity, which can prove not enough in some cases. The Quick Charge feature of OnePlus 5T promises to fill 60% battery in just 30minutes! The only bad side is that this beauty doesn’t sport an SD card slot. To clarify, you’ll have to be satisfied with the 64GB or 128GB that it comes with by default.
