If you are looking for a different Android mobile experience, your search ends with foldable phones. One of the best foldable mobile devices in the market in 2022 is Oppo Find N. It delivers superb performance, impressive camera results, and has a great design. While it does have some issues, it’s still a great overall product. Whether you’re buying a laptop or a foldable phone, one of the most important things to consider is the quality of the hinge system. Thankfully, Oppo has done some great work in this department. The build quality is great, but it does feel heavy at 275 grams.

It also isn’t the easiest to maneuver with dimensions of 132.6 × 73 × 15.9 mm when folded. However, that’s the case with every foldable phone. The device has an aluminum frame besides a glass front and back, both of which are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It comes in Black, White, and Purple. Oppo Find N misses out on an IP rating, which is disappointing considering the price. On the topic, it should be mentioned that the device comes in at a starting price of $1299. It comes in two RAM / ROM combinations, which are 8 GB / 256 GB and 12 GB / 512 GB.

The device supports two Nano-SIM cards, but the memory isn’t expandable. It can handle connections up to 5G. The phone’s overall display quality is awesome. Oppo Find N uses an LTPO AMOLED screen, but it measures 5.49 inches when folded and 7.1 inches when not. At 1792 × 1920 pixels the phone is FHD+ but the cover display has a resolution of 988 × 1972 pixels. While the phone has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the cover display is limited to the standard 60 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone has support for HDR10+ and can go up to 1000 nits of peak brightness.

While multitasking is fun on this one, not every app can display the contents appropriately when the phone is unfolded. While unfolded, the phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 87.3% and a PPI density of 87.3%. It has stereo speakers but lacks a headphone jack like most high-end phones. Oppo Find N excels in the performance department. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset delivers top-notch performance, as expected. Gaming requirements are handled by the Adreno 660 GPU. Software is a department where the phone could have been better.

The device runs Android 11 out-of-the-box, with ColorOS 12 on top. You don’t get Google Play on this, but it can be installed. Speaking of installations, the device comes with a lot of bloatware and Chinese apps. This is only natural since Oppo Find N is only available in China. Coming to cameras, its overall performance is great unless you’re in an incredibly low-lit environment. On the back, it has a 50 MP wide-angle with PDAF and OIS, 13 MP telephoto camera with PDAF and 2x optical zoom, and 16 MP ultrawide camera. It also has a 32 MP wide-angle camera for selfies.

The gadget can record videos up to 4K@60fps, while camera features include Dual-LED dual-tone flash and gyro-EIS. The phone lasts around 2 days on light use and somewhere between 1 and 1.5 days on average use. It has a 4500 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery that supports 33W fast charging. Communication options include USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Hotspot. Oppo Find N has all the usual sensors.
