If you haven’t heard of Razer, you probably aren’t into gaming at all. And why would you seek one of their keyboards, specifically Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2? It’s all forgiven if you’re new to this and looking for the best choice that’s worth the money. Well, let me tell you, you might have found it just now. Yes, it’s that easy, and with a proper introduction you’ll receive now, it will be quite easy to decide. First of all, this is a mechanical keyboard mostly intended for hardcore gamers that require a lot of keybindings. If you’re looking for a portable, wireless keyboard, kindly check Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 Plus.

Okay, now that that’s settled, let’s carry on. The design is quite attractive, sturdy, and very well-made, overall. You’ll find the tactile response of the keys quite pleasant, and if, God forbid, you don’t, Razer allows you to switch keys. This will provide a best typing and gaming experience, along with some nice features of Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2. First and foremost, we’re talking RGB backlight, assignable macro keys to make them do whatever you desire, along with a passthrough for 3.5mm jack and a USB port.

And yes, you’ll receive a backlit logo in the bottom middle, allowing you to brag to your friends. And you have every right to do so. All because Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 price isn’t small. In fact, with the price of $139, it’s 4 times more expensive than Redragon K552 KUMARA, which has similar features. In the end, it will be up to you to decide if this one’s for you or not. Moving on to the build quality and those keys we talked about. It’s all solid plastic and feels almost invincible. The finish on everything is matte and feels sleek and modern.

You can even opt to use a wrist-rest that feels just like leather. It will attach magnetically to the bottom of your keyboard, this covering the logo you admire so much. Every key cap can be removed to uncover a special, Razer Mechanical switch. It’s pretty unique and comes with its own set of specifications. It can be custom fitted with Green, Orange, and a Yellow switch. In short, you’ll exchange them depending on the type of job you do, or if you’re doing some hardcore gaming. At the same time, each of those has its own tactile feedback or the level of sound.

We’ll recommend you some right on the spot. If you’re looking to do a lot of typing, go for the Green one, as it has a clicky nature sound to it. Orange and Yellow are far more silent and would be good for gaming. You’ll notice 5 additional keys on the far left. Finally, M1 through M5 can be custom configured to do tasks you often do throughout the day, thus making your day easier. In the end, this is the perfect choice if you’re looking to do some hardcore, fast-paced gaming on PC. Furthermore, if you’re a fan of mobile games, and you’re looking for a perfect smartphone, Razer has its own Razer Phone with 120 Hz refresh rate. Pretty groundbreaking, huh?

A great high-end keyboard for gaming

This keyboard isn't wireless but it's great for gaming and its response is good also. What i don't like is that it's heavy, about 1.5kg. It has LED backlit buttons which are great if you are playing in the dark. Overall, a little pricy keyboard but not that bad.
