Although Sony is surpassed by some of the leading manufacturers of digital cameras like Nikon, they still manage to improve every year with the new camera models. Sony Alpha 6000 (ILCE-6000) is yet another great product, offering a 24.3 MP, APS-C type (23.5 x 15.6 mm) sensor capable of recording 1080p videos at great quality. The image quality here is vastly improved and with the resolution of 6000×4000, you’ll be able to capture crystal-clear and sharp photos. Sony Alpha 6000 (ILCE-6000) also supports dust reduction, to prevent your lens from being tainted.
Here, we usually talk about the camera design, but Sony Alpha 6000 (ILCE-6000) really doesn’t offer anything new and in our opinion, they could’ve done it much better. The design is underwhelming for the camera with this price range and is inferior to some of the Nikon and Canon cameras. On the performance side, it performs similarly to the other cameras from the entry-level market, so it’s really your choice.

Sony Alpha 6000 does a terrific job for me
With its 1/4000 shutter speed, Sony Alpha 6000 does a very good job of quickly capturing photos at 6000×4000 resolution. This camera allows for recording videos at 1080p and expecting a 4K possibility at this price would be unrealistic. I'm completely satisfied with my Alpha 6000 and i've been using it for about 2 months.
