You might already be familiar with the previous model, Sony MDR-1000X. It was a preferred option because of wireless technology as well as noise-canceling. Well, you won’t be disappointed with this one, as nothing has changed in terms of functionality. In fact, the features of Sony WH-1000XM2 are only better and look enhanced. The only available colors are all-black and all-white, and why ask for more? Both are an eternal classic among colors and can be paired with any outfit making you look cool. Let’s take a look at what has changed for the better, and what exactly are Sony WH-1000XM2 specs:

So let’s start with the visual part. The bridge is made of metal, while the arms of headphones are made of plastic. That’s a common, yet quality combination we see on headphones today. You won’t have to suffer any heaviness and neck strain, as the earcups are comfortable and cool. Even an extended use won’t cause your ears to be pressed to the head and start hurting. Your head is embraced by headphones and won’t leave any room for sound to creep in. That means the outside noise is blocked, hence the noise-cancellation etiquette.

We need to get something straight. Headphones with noise-cancellation feature usually don’t sound all that great. We’re proud to say that is not the case with Sony WH-1000XM2, and they combine the best of both worlds. The equalizer is kind of flat by default, but mids and highs sound crystal clear. You can expect the bass to sound natural and for a prolonged period of time. That’s usually not the case with other manufacturers, as their bass is boosted over the top, and usually overwhelms you. We’re sad they have to do that because electro and techno are mainstream at the moment. And what are they without a heavy, overwhelming bass?

Before we go to the compatibility and pros and cons, we’ll have to mention the price of Sony WH-1000XM2, only $350. You’re getting the bang for your buck, and in a strong competition nowadays, with other noise-canceling headphones fighting bravely. First of all, Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones are compatible with almost every device under the sun, laptop, PC, both iOS, and Android. Although they sound great regardless, Android devices with aptX HD standard are winning the race. That’s because of both aptX HD and LDAC codec integrated, which improves the quality of sound immensely.

In the end, you won’t have to worry about long, boring cables that tangle and annoy. Although the option to connect a cable is there, and the cable comes in the box, we would go wireless. There’s a Bluetooth 4.1 standard as well, so you can choose the best option for you. One of the best features of Sony WH-1000XM2 is surely the battery. You need about 4 hours for a full rejuvenated battery, and it can last you up to 38 hours! It is a well-known technology, Lithium-Ion, so we’re not surprised it is that good and reliable. In conclusion, all of those are quite an upgrade compared to the previous model and prove Sony listens to its users.

    Got a present

Hey guys, Merry Christmas! I just got these a few hours ago, and I came to say I'm so happy with them! I primarily use them to listen to music or watch a movie when everyone is sleeping. The sound is great in my opinion, and I like the black color, it's so classic. I think they would go well with gaming as they're quite expensive. To be honest, you should get them if you've got a few extra bucks to add, it will pay off.
