Everything Specs
For its price of nearly $300, Vivo V5 seems slightly underwhelmed. Instead, Vivo V5 is a typical budget smartphone with nothing new to offer. For example, its 5.5″ IPS LCD screen with 720p resolution isn’t the sharpest screen we’ve seen. However, the phone is only 7.6mm thick and it looks beautiful, therefore it’s comfortable for using it even with one hand, regardless of its size. The 13 MP camera here offers a standard 1080p recording, and there is 20 MP front camera which isn’t all that impressive.
What is really mediocre here is hardware. With its Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T860MP2 GPU, Vivo V5 will not do its best at gaming, neither at multitasking, even though there are 4 GB of RAM. Now, we’re not saying that Vivo V5 isn’t a good smartphone, but for the $300, there are better choices. We wish there was at least fast battery charging available, but as it seems, we’re a little disappointed.

I've been using Vivo V5 for about a week and my first impression was great. It's thin and has nice proportions that fit in my hand. However, its hardware didn't impress me as much but it still works great. Also, it could be a little cheaper.
