To be honest, Xiaomi Mi 4 is a pretty old smartphone, more than 3 years old now. But has it aged well? We are about to see that. Xiaomi Mi 4 boasts a fantastic Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset with a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU but falls short of GPU, which is heavily outdated Adreno 330. There are two versions here; one with 2 GB and 3 GB. There, however, aren’t big differences as both of these will offer mediocre performance. The same applies to gaming. The design is good, and with 5″ full HD display, Xiaomi Mi 4 doesn’t feel big at all.
The 13 MP camera here is the highlight of the phone. For a smartphone that costs $230, it’s a nice addition to have a possibility to record in 2160p at 30 fps, although the quality isn’t supreme. Li-Ion 3080 mAh battery is located under Xiaomi Mi 4 hood and offers solid performance for this price tag, although it could be a little better.

A great hardware, but outdated software
As description says, Xiaomi Mi 4 has a great CPU clocked at 2.5Ghz and a 3 GB of RAM and all of this wors great except for the outdated Android 4.3 OS. I've used it until couple of months ago when i realized that i need the newer version of Android to update some of my apps.
