Everything Specs
Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime was released in the summer of 2015. While this may seem old to you, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime offers a good performance for the money. Its 4.7″ IPS LCD display may not be the biggest ever, but its just right and feels great, especially with its 720×1280 resolution. The downside of this smartphone is the operating system. It comes with Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), upgradable to 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and that’s all- no future plans for upgrades. On the hardware side, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime was a decent budget smartphone for the time; its Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU were just fine for the most cases.
The 2 GB of RAM is also bare minimum today, for multitasking and gaming, so you shouldn’t have a problem with that. The unexpected disappointment here is a 8 MP camera, which could’ve been upped to 13 MP, although it still can record 1080p videos at 30 fps. The front camera also isn’t great with its 2 MP.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime didn't cost me much money a few years ago, but worked well. I like its 20 MP camera but it's small with its 4.7" in size (display). The design looks good for me and the phone overall is worth its price of around 130-140$.
