As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite is a lighter version of the Redmi Note 10 smartphone. However, this doesn’t mean this phone isn’t great. The device performs well in most aspects and delivers great value for money. The phone was first announced on the 1st of October 2021 and released the following day. The phone comes at a starting price of ₹12,999 (or approximately $174). It comes in four configurations. The base variant has 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. The second variant also has 4 GB of RAM but 128 GB of internal storage. Both the other variants have 6 GB of RAM but differ in terms of internal storage offered (64 GB or 128 GB).
Just like configurations, there are four options for color as well. You can choose between Aurora Blue, Glacier White, Interstellar Black, and Champagne Gold. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite has a triple card slot, one of which is reserved for an SD card. The other two slots can accommodate two Nano-SIM cards that support connectivity from 2G to 4G. The phone measures 6.53, 3.02, and 0.35 inches in height, width, and thickness. Interestingly, the device doesn’t feel uncomfortable in hand, even though it weighs 209 grams.
The build quality of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite is amazing. It has a plastic frame with a glass front and back, both of which are protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The multimedia experience is great and is further boosted by the presence of a loudspeaker and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the software side, the phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 11 on top.
Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G processor handles the overall performance of the phone. The processor delivers smooth performance, while the gaming performance delivered by the Adreno 618 GPU is just as good. The phone scored 270177 points in the AnTuTu benchmark test. Coming to cameras, the device delivers a decent performance, while the selfie camera performance is quite good. The phone has a quad-camera set-up on the back. It has a 48 MP wide-angle camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 5 MP macro sensor camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor camera. On the front, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite has a 16 MP wide-angle camera for selfies.

The phone has not just Radio, and NFC but also an Infrared Port which isn’t very common in mid-range phones. The battery performance is superb as it should last you for 1.5 days on a full charge if you are an average user.
