When you hear about Nokia 3, you will probably hear the words ”the best-looking budget smartphone” to follow. And that is certainly proven to be true, as Nokia 3 ships in multiple colors. Silver White, Matte Black, Dark Blue, they’re all equally beautiful and share that premium look of much more expensive smartphones. It has really good looking metal edge, so it has a sleek look to it. If that’s what you desire, then this one is certainly the phone for you. Now let’s take a look at other features of Nokia 3, and what it has to offer.

Nokia launched this smartphone with first-time smartphone users in mind. You’ll be able to use all the apps and play some less demanding games without worry. That taken into consideration, users of Nokia 3 reported their 2630 mAh Li-Ion battery to be drained pretty fast. Unfortunately, with no Fast Charge feature available, you’ll probably be stuck to a power outlet every night if you want to continue using it. There is a battery saving mode integrated into it, but it hasn’t shown to be of great help. This wasn’t a deal-breaker for you? Very well, let’s hear about the parts that will consume your precious power.

Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch screen, with an HD resolution of standard 1280 x 720 pixels and approximately 294 dots per inch. As you suspected that’s a bit below that of modern smartphones, but the screen is still sharp to the eye, as the size isn’t too big. Unlike newer Nokia models, this one doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. You might find yourself a bit annoyed with unlocking in with on-screen unlock if you’re used to this way of accessing your smartphone.

Is taking pictures a really important thing for you? In that case, let’s see what Nokia 3 can do for you. First of all, if you bought this smartphone, you’re probably not looking for 4K video recording and optical image stabilization. So please, be gentle with this one. It has both front and back camera of 8 MP, with a really powerful LED flash that’ll be useful to you a lot. That’s because this one doesn’t do that great in low-light conditions. Where video is concerned it’s advertised at a 720p quality with 30fps, and that’s proven true. To be honest, it really did surprisingly well considering there’s no stabilization tech involved. You can comfortably use it for video calling or recording around your garden.

Now let us jump into the world of Nokia 3 specifications. What makes this beauty tick? It certainly is its Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor combined with a Mali-T720MP1 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Those will serve all your day-to-day needs if you don’t push it to its limits. What will you receive for Nokia 3’s price of 175$? You get a stock Android 7.0 experience with a possibility to upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. You’ll be surprised to hear that your phone won’t be slowed down by countless Nokia apps and icons. In the end, if you like watching movies and videos on your phone, you’ll be happy with this device.

    My Mom is glowing!

I bought Nokia 3 for my Mom, I thought it was an older generation phone, but surprise, it was launched recently, in 2017, along with similar-name Nokias which confused me. Other than that, I can recommend this one for anyone with not that big of a budget.
